Top 5 Tips for Posting to Toronto
- Toronto can be an expensive area to buy or rent. Take advantage of other savings opportunities such as CF Appreciation discounts for activities to recoup some of your budget.
- The public transit service is important to get to know more so than other Canadian cities.
- Consider sticking to PLD Zone 1 for budgeting.
- Ask the school for the housing matrix to cross reference with PLD zones. Looking for a house already occupied by a military family may help.
- If living outside of the city, morning traffic can be an easier commute than end of day traffic, after 3 pm traffic gets very heavy.
