Top 5 tips for Posting/Returning OUTCAN
- When returning from OUTCAN, bring your important personal items with you on your person, as there can be a delay with shipping items.
- Find online support with Facebook groups.
- Consider your commute, ability to drive in a foreign country and walking proximity to amenities when selecting housing, those factors will help make it easier to connect with other people.
- Review options and take necessary steps in advance for spousal employment.
- When returning from OUTCAN, source your criminal record checks from that country before you return to Canada. It may be easier to get the information while in the country than applying for it later. You may need it when applying for criminal record checks in Canada for certain employment.
