Top 5 Tips for Posting to Edmonton
- Add Fort Saskatchewan to your HHT list, it's just a 15 minute commute to the base and an ideal place to raise a family - there's a new high school opening in 2018 and a new K-9 school opened in 2017.
- The north end of Edmonton has every amenity needed!
- There are tons of festivals and downtown has amazing food (check out the market and the onion cakes are amazing!). Also visit Fort Edmonton for a trip back in time.
- Snow tires and a snow blower are must haves! Invest in warm winter clothing, school still goes on in cold weather.
- Take advantage of the mountains, many fun activities and sight-seeing for the whole family.
